The Best Yes

My nature is such that I want to do all the things with and for all the people.

I want to be the classroom mom.

I want to volunteer at the Baptist Home.

I want to throw a Pinterest party for my SAHM friends.

I want to take meals to the widows on my block.

I want to lead an in-home bible study.

I want to learn to sew.

I want to foster.

I want to be part of community theatre.

I want to blog weekly.

I want to mentor young moms.

See? I really do want to do all the things with and for all the people because trust me this list is just the tip of the iceberg of things I would love to say YES to right now this very minute.

But the truth is, no one can do all the things even when the things are very, very good things.

The bigger truth is God didn't ask us to to all the things. Just the ones He's personally called us to.

And that's where The Best Yes by Lysa TerKeurst comes in.

Lysa TerKeurst is learning that there is a big difference between saying yes to everyone and saying yes to God. In The Best Yes she will help you:
    • Cure the disease to please with a biblical understanding of the command to love.
    • Escape the guilt of disappointing others by learning the secret of the small no.
    • Overcome the agony of hard choices by embracing a wisdom based decision-making process.
    • Rise above the rush of endless demands and discover your best yes today.
Here's my thought - Let's do it together!

Buy the book or ebook, and we'll go through it together for 6 weeks in a closed Facebook Group. There's also a study guide, but it's not required.

Each Monday beginning December 1st, I'll post our readings for the week, and then a couple of times a week, I'll post some discussion questions.

Think you're ready to find YOUR Best Yes? Just join the event on my Facebook Page!!

See ya there!
