Goodbye Grumpies, Hello Mornings

Every year starts the same - I want to be in the Word daily, be more organized, and lose weight to be healthier.

I have great ideas and make grandiose plans. I get an A in that department.

Follow through and/or completion? Not so much. Usually because I overload my plate, lose interest, or honestly just get lazy.

But this time will be different. Why? Because not only do I have access to tools to turn the tide, but I'm going to use them!



I've joined Hello Mornings Winter Challenge! The accountability, community, tips, & tools are going to help me hit the floor running every day.

Literally.

As in before I wake up the Littles, my spiritual, mental, & physical fires will already be burning.

(Opposed to my norm of waking up 5 minutes before they HAVE to be up. Sorry, but there's been no grace on school mornings in the West home this year.)

Its not hard. It's not complicated. It looks just like this:




1. Bible Study & Prayer - 25 min
2. Plan My Day - 10 min
3. Exercise - 25 min


And I can even ease into it by using Inspired to Action's free eBook:




And for the naysayers aka those who know me well know enough to know I stay in bed to the last possible second after staying up entirely too late for a working mama of 6, I'll be preparing by using this:




This will get my day pointed in the right direction all before the Littles are up! (Noah's another story and another post!) I'm banishing the Grumpy Morning Mom, whom I affectionately call Suzi. And no she doesn't just show up before school.

I said before that the really hard ground was me. Well, here's where we start tearing it up.
